The FCF Valuation Monitor is a comprehensive valuation analysis for the German small / midcap market segment and is published by FCF on a quarterly basis.
Key insights of Q3 2020 are:
- All four major German indices are trading above their level in Q3 2019 with the SDAX and TecDAX recording a performance above +10.0%
- In the last 12 months, the majority of industries showed positive share price performances with gains ranging from +1.6% (Technology sector) to +129.6% (Internet Products / Services sector). However, some industries, like the Transportations & Logistics, Automotive Supply and Consumer Products / Services sectors, showed negative performances with decreases of 34.4%, 10.6% and 7.0%, respectively
- Across all sectors, sales are expected to grow at 5.8% per annum between 2019 and 2022, while the Renewable Products / Services, Internet Products / Services, Software and Hightech / Advanced Machinery sectors show sales growth rates of above 10% (2019 – 2022)
