The Monitor is a monthly published overview of venture capital trends in the US Healthcare & Life Sciences sector.
As of the end of March 2025 we identified the following current VC trends in the United States:
- Total Healthcare & Life Sciences funding reached EUR 9,498m (-3% vs. 2024)
- Biotech/Pharma received 43% of the total investment volume (EUR 4,081m) with immunology being the leading indication (25%)
- In March Supira Medical secured the highest transaction volume with EUR 112m, followed by SetPoint Medical with EUR 107m and Curevo Vaccine with EUR 104m
- Illumina (United States) is the most active investor (by deal volume in 2025), followed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (United States) and The Column Group (United States)
