As of the end of July 2026, we have identified the following current VC trends in the United States:

• Total Healthcare & Life Sciences funding reached EUR 22,999m (-2% vs. 2025)

• Biotech/Pharma received 40% of the total investment volume (EUR 9,145m), with oncology being the leading indication (35%)

• In July, Function Health secured the highest transaction volume with EUR 394m, followed by Chai Discovery with EUR 350m and AdvanCell with EUR 276m

• Boston Scientific (United States) is the most active investor (by deal volume in 2026), followed by General Catalyst (United States) and RA Capital Management (United States)
