As of the end of January 2024 we identify the following current VC trends in the United States: 

1. Total Healthcare & Life Sciences funding has reached EUR 2,239m, lagging behind January of last year (EUR 2,239m vs EUR 3,330m)
2. Biotech received 60% of the total investment volume (EUR 1,336m) with oncology being the leading indication(27%)
3. In January Cellanome secures the highest transaction volume with EUR 137m, followed by Eyconis with EUR 137m and Sudo Biosciences with EUR 135m
4. Premji Invest (United States) is the most active investor (by deal volume), followed by Novo Holdings (Denmark) and Venrock (United States)
