FCF Fox Corporate Finance GmbH is delighted to publish the new “FCF Healthcare & Life Sciences Venture Capital Monitor – Europe 04/2024”.

The Monitor is a monthly published overview of venture capital trends in the European Healthcare & Life Sciences sector.

As of the end of April 2025 we identified the following current VC trends in Europe:

• Total Healthcare & Life Sciences funding reached EUR 4,297m (+32% vs. 2024)
• Biotech/Pharma received 32% of the total investment volume (EUR 1,388m) with metabolic disorders (including Diabetes, Obesity) being the leading indication (29%)
• In April, CMR Surgical (Belgium) secured the highest transaction volume with EUR 185m, followed by DeepUll (Spain) with EUR 45m and Sidekick Health (Iceland) with EUR 42m
• GV (United States) is the most active investor (by deal volume in 2025), followed by Alphabet (United States) and Thrive Capital (United States)
