Privacy statement for online application
The protection of personal data is important to us. The data you make available to us is handled in conformity with statutory provisions, especially those of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu).
1. Application information
During the application process we collect different data from you. Among these are your personal data with contact information and a description of your education, work experience, and skills. Furthermore, you have the option of submitting electronically stored documents such as certificates or cover letters to us.
With your application you affirm that the information provided by you, which you communicate to us on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) is accurate. We would like to point out that every false statement or deliberate omission may constitute grounds for a rejection or later termination of employment.
We ask you not to transfer information to us concerning race, ethnic origin, religion or worldview, disability, sexual identity as well as details of illnesses, pregnancy, political views, philosophical and religious convictions, membership of a trade union, physical or mental health or sex life.
2. Collection, processing, use, and transfer of your data
The personal data transferred to us by you is collected, stored, processed, and used only for the purposes related to your interest in current or future employment with us and to the processing of your application. There is no transfer to third parties. Data such as name, address, telephone number, email address etc. is collected during the online application process. This data primarily serves to contact you concerning your application.
Your online application is exclusively processed and comes to the knowledge of the relevant contact persons in our company. All employees entrusted with data processing are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your data. Under no circumstances do third parties gain knowledge of your data. Your data is processed exclusively in Germany.
Should we be unable to offer you employment, we will store the data transferred by you for up to six months for the purpose of answering questions related to your application and rejection.
If your application documents are fundamentally interesting and there is simply no suitable employment currently available, you hereby give us your consent to hold and store your data accordingly. Thus, we can contact you in case of future job offers.
4. Data security
We place a lot of emphasis on the maximum security of our system and utilise modern data storage and security techniques to optimally protect your data. Our security measures are continually tested and improved in line with technological progress. Your data is transferred encrypted, protected against access, and only accessible to a specific group of persons responsible for personnel.
5. Access, restriction, erasure
Under applicable statutory provisions you have the right to freely access, at any time, your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) or erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) of this data.
